When you look at the skies

When you look at the skies, remember who stretched them out. The Creator of all things did not only make the world. He owns it, and he speaks into it with absolute authority. His voice is not hidden in nature or circumstance. It is revealed in Scripture. He has not left us to wonder. He has spoken plainly, and what he says is final.

Many try to find God through what they feel and what they see, but this is not how truth comes. He does not govern our lives through shifting emotions or changing conditions. The word of God is not a reflection of the times. It is a standard that stands above them. Circumstance must not instruct faith. Faith must instruct the way we respond to circumstance.

God says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways.” These words from Isaiah are not poetic decoration. They are a rebuke. Human thinking cannot reach the truth. Education cannot produce it. Culture cannot preserve it. Truth does not arise from below. It descends from above.

God speaks, and we are called to believe him. The Spirit renews the mind so we can understand what has already been revealed. We do not need further signals. We need to submit to what God has said. Do not let experience shape your doctrine. Let your doctrine reshape how you interpret experience.

We are saved because the word of God declares it. This is reality. The word does not suggest. It decrees. It tells you who Christ is, what he has done, and what belongs to those who believe. Your salvation is not upheld by feelings or performance. It stands because God has spoken.

This is why the cross is not a mere symbol. It was a legal action that satisfied divine justice. It settled the matter once for all. When God speaks through the gospel, he is not offering an opinion or an option. He is declaring forgiveness, righteousness, and eternal life for everyone who believes.

And if salvation has been declared by the word, then so have all its benefits. Healing, deliverance, authority, and peace are not ideas we add to the gospel. They are bound to the finished work of Christ. The word declares them, and faith arises. When the body is sick, the truth remains unchanged. God has spoken. Symptoms do not get to decide what is true. The word of God remains the authority, and the body must comply.

The voice you need is not in the storm, the crowd, or your emotions. God has spoken. His word is written and complete. The Spirit does not bring a new message. He brings power to what God has revealed. The truth is not evolving. It is here. It has to be believed.

Faith does not wait for conditions to change. It acts because God has spoken. It is the substance of what is hoped for and the evidence of what is not seen. Faith is not blind. It sees more clearly than anything else because it sees what God has said. When you believe the word and acts according to it, your life is no longer dictated by what is passing. It is governed by what is eternal.
