We recently released a PDF reader to make our PDF files easier to read. We have now taken another step.
For the first time in twenty-five years, all our writings are readable directly in a web browser on any modern device, whether desktop or mobile. Anyone should now be able to read the entire collection comfortably with nothing more than a phone.
The new HTML reader saves your place in each book. When you return, click Resume to continue where you left off, or use the table of contents to move to another part of the book. The reader also follows the site’s color theme, whether dark, dim, or light mode.
When we began publishing our materials online, PDF served several important needs. It was platform-independent, printable, and preserved fixed page numbers. These features remain useful, especially for printing and archiving. For almost all other purposes, HTML is the better format, and it may become our default publishing format moving forward.
Head over to the library and choose the HTML link for any title to begin.
We will continue to make refinements and fixes as needed.
